Kevin Cleary

Kevin Cleary was a stand-out athlete at wide receiver during the three years he played for the Madison Seminoles. Ask any defensive back that tried to cover Kevin; they will say that the task was next to impossible. Kevin Cleary joined the Seminoles at a time when they were a good team, but not great… yet. When Kevin played wide receiver his rookie year for the 'Noles, the captains of the team knew that he had something special.

In 2001 with QB Brent Harris throwing from a shotgun formation, the 'Noles cruised to a 6-1 regular season record. In Iron Bowl V, thanks to a high-powered offense, they beat the Milwaukee Bulldogs 38-20 earning Kevin Cleary and the Madison Seminoles their first championship. Kevin earned All-Star honors at wide receiver in both the 2001 and 2002 seasons.
