IFL star makes it to next level
March 5, 2006
Troy Dyzak star linebacker for the Milwaukee Bulldogs signed a pro contract with the Green Bay Blizzard this season.
Troy is an exceptional athlete and a tenacious hitter with the size and strength to be an awesome pro linebacker.
Troy like all the players of the IFL, did not want to end his playing career after high school or college, instead he joined the Ironman Football League to play the game he loved.
Troy excelled at linebacker for the Milwaukee Bulldogs and made the IFL all-star team 4 consecutive times from 2002 to 2005. In 2003 he was voted the league's Defensive player of the year for his dominate play at linebacker. In 2005, Troy took over the Bulldog defense leading them to the team's first championship in Ironbowl IX defeating the high powered Madison Seminoles and holding them to zero points.
During the regular season the Bulldogs defense recorded a league record nine shutouts and Troy enjoyed another All-star season dominating running backs and quarterbacks alike.
After the 2005 season Troy got an invitation to try-out for the Green Bay Blizzard an Arena 2 team. The Coaches from the Blizzard were very impressed with Troy and offered him a contract. The terms of the contract were not disclosed but there's no doubt in the minds of Troy's opponents that he will indeed excel.
Don't worry Bulldog fans; Troy will be back in time to play for his beloved Milwaukee Bulldogs for the start of the 2006 season.
