IFL signs Association Agreement with Aflac
Last Tuesday, the IFL signed an Association Agreement with Aflac Insurance. According to the deal, the IFL Association Rates will be available to all League staff, players, and members of the Ironman Football League. The offer includes the Accident Indemnity Advantage Insurance Policy with 24-hour Accident-Only coverage. It is designed to provide IFL members with cash benefits throughout the different stages of care, regardless of the severity of the injury.
“The Ironman Football League is very conscience of the needs of the players that dedicate their spare time in the working man’s league,” said Pat Turay, Independent Agent Representing Aflac. “I played semi-pro football for seven years and experienced the intensity of the play. Unexpected injuries happen and players still need to bring home a paycheck. That’s where Aflac steps in to reduce the impact on your finances.”
The Ironman Football League is the “working man’s NFL”. Players do not get compensated to play, but instead play for the love of the game. Football is a violent game where injuries commonly occur, but these players still need to be able to provide for their families whether they get injured or not. That is why the IFL is pleased to have this partnership with Aflac.
