Chudada steps down after 15 years as league CEO
Pewaukee, WI – After 15 years of running the Ironman Football League, League founder & CEO Chris Chudada has made the decision to relinquish his title and most of his League responsibilities and will now serve as the League’s consultant.
Chudada met with Pete Narrai and Jordan Kopac to formally let them know of his decision. After the meeting, both Narrai and Kopac understood and respected Chudada’s reasons to step down.
The emotional announcement that Chudada was stepping down was made on Sunday night, just one day after the Madison Mustangs won their historic third Championship in a row. Pete Narrai and Jordan Kopac will now be fully in charge of the League’s administrative operations.
“This decision is based solely on the point that I am in my life right now,” Chudada says.
A letter from Chudada was sent to all of the team owners explaining his personal decision to step down. In the letter, Chudada states that due to working two jobs and being newly married with plans of starting a family in the near future, it would be impossible for him to give the League the proper time, effort, and dedication that it requires.
He continues, “Since day one I have always given the Ironman Football League 110% of my time, effort, and dedication. It would not be fair to all of the team owners, their teams, and the fans for me to remain the Owner/CEO and not be able to give the time, effort, and dedication required to run the League properly.”
Chudada told the Ironman Insider that the League is still in good hands with Pete Narrai and Jordan Kopac at the top and that he will still be helping out as much as he can as the League’s consultant. He believes that the League’s future is still very bright.
“I know they [Pete and Jordan] are very capable of doing a great job. I am confident that the IFL will continue to flourish after this transition,” Chudada concluded.
