Crusaders defeat Panthers 7-3
Fond du Lac, WI – The Crusaders offense is starting to show anticipated improvement as they were able to rack up some positive yards on the ground and in the air while picking up some key first downs last Saturday night against Greendale. Even though the Crusader offense is still having trouble finding the endzone, things still appear to be moving in the right direction as their Defense remains tough, holding the Panther offense to just a field goal. A blocked punt by Chad Kollman was picked up by William Rogers who scored the game’s lone touchdown. Rogers score proved to be the difference maker as the Crusaders win their first game of the season with a 7-3 victory over the Panthers. Next week Saturday the Crusaders will host the visiting Burlington Blue Devils (3-1) while the Panthers travel to Wisconsin Lutheran College to take on the Wauwatosa Spartans (2-2).
