IRONBOWL BOUND

The long road to Ironbowl XIV has finally been completed.   Now, the showdown between the IFL’s two top teams, the Madison Mustangs and the Burlington Blue devils, will result in one team taking home the League’s greatest prize and the right to be called Ironbowl Champions.

Few roads in America are as fabled as the one leading to the IFL’s Promised Land. The road to Ironbowl XIV was shaped and constructed by the men who traveled it.  Even those who did not reach the IFL’s biggest game left resounding footsteps along the way.

For nine teams in the IFL, it will be back to the drawing board as 2011 brings them a clean slate to work with. For the Madison Mustangs and the Burlington Blue Devils, the time for glory is now, and the title “Ironbowl Champion” to be ceased.

After twelve grueling weeks of hard hitting football action, the Madison Mustangs (10-0) will meet the Burlington Blue Devils (9-1) in Ironbowl XIV at Hart Park in Wauwatosa on Saturday, August 28th to decide the League’s Champion.

The Mustangs look poised to be the first team in IFL history to win three Ironbowl Championships in a row, but standing in their way are the mighty Blue Devils who have plans of their own.

What will be the end result? A three-peat for the Mustangs?
Or,
Will the Blue Devils win their first ever Ironbowl championship?

Stay tuned to find out on Saturday, August 28th, as Ironbowl XIV gets underway at Hart Park in Wauwatosa.  Kickoff is set for 7pm.
