For both parents and kids, it's never too early to start thinking about summer vacation. But both parents and kids look at summer vacation for two different reasons. Parents are concerned with ensuring that their children are safe, supervised, and engaged in productive activities that keep their minds and bodies active until their children return to school in the fall. Children eagerly anticipate the free time that summer provides and simply want to have fun and hang out with friends.

The Ironman Football League feels that its youth football camp is one solution designed to keep everyone happy this summer.

The Ironman Football League will be hosting a one day, non-contact, youth football camp this Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Bradley Tech High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from noon to 4PM.

The camp will be held on the artificial turf stadium field at Bradley Tech High School. It is designed to help youth learn and develop the fundamentals and techniques of football from qualified and professional instructors. Kids will have the opportunity to learn the game and its many valuable lessons that they can apply to everyday life situations. They will also have a chance to visit with current and former IFL semi-pro players, collect autographs, and make new friends.

“We are very excited to work with the next generation of student-athletes,” said Chris Chudada, Founder & CEO of the Ironman Football League. “My staff and I are truly looking forward to sharing our knowledge, skills, and passion for the game of football with today’s youth.”

The Ironman Football League has partnered with the American Youth Football Association and is dedicated not only to the advancement of semi-pro football, but football itself. The IFL would like to encourage youngsters to get involved with the great sport of football not only to play it, but to learn from it as well. Football is just not about tackling and running. It is much more complex then that. It teaches discipline, fundamentals, and most importantly, teamwork.

Chudada says, “The camp is a great way to teach kids and watch them excel at the game, learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.”
