Crusaders linebacker shows true grit

Brian Thompson #41 is a second year starter for the Fond du Lac Crusaders and plays Linebacker. He shows great dedication to his team and the game of football, so much so that his teammates have selected Thompson to be the team's defensive captain.

Thompson graduated Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin were he played all four years of football. He later joined the Marines and served his country for four years.

Outside of football his hobbies are Softball, Volleyball and bungee jumping, he currently is employed by Quad Graphics in Lomira.

Thompson says what he loves the most about football is the camaraderie he and his teammates share, and says that he will keep playing football until he can't move anymore.

Thompson and the "Big Blue Wreaking Crew" which is the nickname of the Crusaders defense, is exciting to watch. The Crusaders defense is very sound and gang tackles almost on every play. 11 men to the ball, the Crusader way.
