Crusaders announce new home field

Fond du Lac – Art Humphrey Field at North Fond du Lac High School is the new home field of the Fond du Lac Crusaders, Team President Brian Thompson announced Thursday.
“We are very excited to play at this quality facility and to be able to work with people such as Dr. James Sebert, Superintendent of the North Fond du Lac school district,” said Thompson.
A major benefit of the new field is the lighting which allows the team to play evening games beginning at 7 p.m. The later start time is more convenient for area fans and is expected to increase attendance.
The team previously played their home games at St. Mary’s Springs High School.
“We want to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Springs who worked hard for the past three seasons to ensure a great experience for us, our opponents and our fans,” said Thompson.
Art Humphrey Field, located at 1115 Thurke Ave, will host four Crusader home games. The team’s 2008 schedule is as follows:

The team looks forward to bringing not only great football, but also affordable family-oriented fun for area residents. Game tickets will be sold for $5, with additional promotions and activities to be announced closer to the season.
