Gladiators lend a helping hand

June 23, 2008 Gladiators Volunteer

Last week, when the Rock River began threatening the Rock County community, the Gladiators did all they could to help protect it. As darkness encroached on a local sandbagging effort, the team swatted away river moths and mosquitoes as they sloshed through over a foot of murky water to stack the saturated bags. Operations ceased only when there was no sand left to bag and carry. Thanks, team, for being there for your community and for channeling the brute force normally reserved for opponents into such a good cause!
