Hitmen shoot down the Venom
June 25, 2007
Revenge is sweet! After a disappointing loss to the Milwaukee Venom in 2006, the Muskego Hitmen were able to get revenge last Saturday night as they pounded the Venom into submission 21-3. The win kept Muskego's perfect record alive and sitting pretty at 3-0. How are the Hitmen doing it? They're doing it by playing Hitmen football! With a tough, tenacious defense and mistake-free offense, Muskego looks like the Hitmen of old.
The Hitmen defense held the Venom offense to only three points the whole night with 24 of 41 plays resulting in negative yards. The Hitmen defense came on strong as they caused 2 turnovers (1 interception, 1 fumble) and sacked Venom quarterbacks 4 times. The leader of Muskego's defense, middle linebacker #64 Jason (the truck) Huckstorf, had a phenomenal game recording 7 solo tackles, 1 caused fumble and one sack. It's pretty safe to say... they're back!!!
