Jordan Kopac joins the IFL administrative staff
November 30, 2008
Milwaukee, WI – On Friday, the league announced that Jordan Kopac, a semi-pro football coaching legend, now joins the Ironman Football League as a minority owner and a member of its administrative staff. Kopac will bring his knowledge and extensive experience to improve an already prestigious league as his title will officially include Vice President of Football Operations and League Consultant.
“I appreciate the opportunity to become a part of the IFL as an owner and member of the Board of Directors.” Kopac said. “My interest in this level of football is to play what part I can in helping promote and further football involvement for an age group that can be considered young adults. Without access to this level of football the players’ careers would be cut short before they had an opportunity to play their best football.”
The team of Chudada, Kopac and Narrai has a total of eight semi-pro football Hall of Fame inductions between them. The trio is very excited about the opportunity of working together as they want to waste no time in accomplishing their objectives.
Jordan Kopac has a Doctorate in Philosophy in Business with a concentration in Strategic and Organizational Management. Kopac will work close with league CEO Chris Chudada and league co-owner Pete Narrai and advise them on day to day business and football operations.
“I’m very excited in welcoming Jordan to the league.” Stated league CEO Chris Chudada, “With the addition of an accomplished individual such as Jordan Kopac to the leagues administrative board, it not only will improve an already great league, but it will open the doors to endless possibilities.” Chudada added.
The Ironman Football League is on the verge of becoming something really special as Kopac sees the promise and believes in the leagues potential. That’s why when the opportunity knocked Kopac was more than eager to seize it. “Hopefully I can play some positive role in keeping this fine organization alive and growing.” Kopac said. Fellow league owners Chudada and Narrai believe in Kopac’s ability to help make the league become even more successful now and in the future.
Kopac also firmly believes in the foundation the Ironman Football League has been built upon and plans to help the league flourish in even more positive directions. The kind of opportunity that the IFL gives young men coming out of school is important to Kopac.
“It seems a shame for a young man to devote years of practice and devotion to a game and have it cut short without being able to pursue their love of the game before they reach the peak of their physical ability.” Kopac says. “Sometimes we do not appreciate what we have until we lose it. I almost lost the opportunity to play football after college but was afforded the opportunity to continue because of the devotion to the adult amateur game by those that came before me. Just maybe, I can continue what they did for me as a young man”.
