The league office announced last Friday that they have successful negotiated a deal with Time Warner Cable that will feature four selected Ironman Football League games to air on the Time Warner Cable Sports Channel 32 for 2008. The news is just what team owners and league personnel have been waiting to hear.
“The deal took a little bit of time but we are very excited in what this could mean for the league.” League/CEO Chris Chudada said. He added, “I think patients paid off here as we look forward to a long and happy relationship with Time Warner Cable.”
League officials said that at least four contracted games are guaranteed to be televised this year with the possibility of more. The league said that next year they hope to add even more.
