IFL Welcomes the Dane County Hawks
In 2008 Jim Foerster and Todd Dillender with the help of friends, family members, and associates decided to start a new semi-pro football team. They met at their local VFW Post 8483 and began working on their dream of a new semi-pro football team.
Their first task was to come up with a name and after much deliberation they came up with the Dane County Hawks. The team colors that were chosen are red, black, and white.
You can visit the team's website at http://danecountyhawks.com.
The first 4 years they spent in the MSFL in which they have players in the record books as well as being on the leagues all-star teams and the all MSFL teams. They are proud to say they have sent 6 players and one coach to the Casino Bowl in Las Vegas. Now in their 5th season they are looking to come into the IFL and make a difference not only on the field but off.
This is really the best fit for the team since they do have a lot of young talent and some of these guys are in collage and now can finish the whole season on the field because this is truly a spring summer league. The team is owned by Jim Foerster and he is assisted by his family and friends in running the team. Currently they play at Warner Park in Madison.
We will be holding a player signing day and informational meeting Jan 12th 2013 6PM at the PIZZA OVEN 5417 Monona Drive, Monona, WI 53716.

The organization is run by a board of directors composed of an experienced management team who's main goals are to not only make an impact on the football field, but to also make a positive impact within the community.
Team management is committed as a staff to put the best product on the field, as well as develop pride and confidence within the local community. Scorpions Join IFL

Owner Nick Klettke
In 2011 the Scorpions were contacted by the Midwest’s premier league (IFL), but did not feel they were ready to accept the offer. Being contacted again in 2012 there were countless meetings. With a successful 2012 season under their belt and a highly talented team along with a good marketing strategy they accepted the offer.
The Scorpions will bring with them into the league a large fan/sponsor base along with a successful marketing/business strategy and a very solid foundation. They will be playing their home games in 2013 at Kettle Moraine High School. The Scorpions look to continue their success in the IFL and prove that they can hang with the best in the Midwest.
